International Porsche 928 Meeting
celebrating the 12,5th (!) anniversary of the Dutch Porsche Club 928

Participation to this meeting is reserved for non-dutch Porsche 928 owners and clubmembers of the Porsche Club 928 Netherlands only.

Complete 3-day program

Friday 28 May 2010:
Reception at the hotel (around 15:00 pm), distribution of bags with “goodies”, program , etc.
Stroll to and through the picturesque village of Volendam. Dinner at the hotel
followed by a quiz party with live music. Stay overnight in double bedroom.

Saturday 29 May 2010
Breakfast buffet, short tour by own car, lunch, bus transfer from hotel to Amsterdam, visit to the Heineken brewery, boad trip through the canals,
dinner and a “surprise” event.
Bus transfer from Amsterdam back to the hotel.

Sunday 30 May 2010:
Breakfast buffet, lunch and entrance fees for attractions that will be visited during a tour by our own cars through a typical Dutch scenery.
All Participants to the complete 3-day event will receive a special edition of
our club magazine with the
programme, route descriptions, list of participants and other relevant (or even less relevant) information, vouchers, etc.
For all participants there will be a gift to remember this event.

This weekend in 2010 is being organised by the Dutch Porsche Club 928 in cooperation with Pon Porsche Nederland (the Dutch Porsche importer and distributer) and probably a number of other business parties.

Although the program is not completely fixed yet, it will offer something interesting for all
tastes: A puzzle- and/or navigation drive, a sightseeing tour along places of interest like
Volendam where you can enjoy typical Dutch treats such as smoked eel and raw herring with onions. Here you can also have a photograph taken of yourself in traditional clothing and on wooden clogs.
In Amsterdam we will enjoy a sightseeing tour by boat through the canals and pay a visit to the Heineken brewery (free beers included !)
Optional visits to the red light district, the posh shopping street PC Hooftstraat or the traditional street market "Albert Cuyp" will allow you to spend some time the way you personally like the best.

Of course we will keep some surprises up our sleeves.
The program starts on Friday afternoon (28.05.2010) with the arrival and registration of the
participants at the Van der Valk Hotel in Volendam.
During this weekend we will take care of culinary and musical treats, to entertain both the
participants and their passengers.

This event is mainly sponsored by the Porsche Club 928 of the Netherlands to celebrate our
12,5th anniversary. From the contributions of our members we have saved money over the past 5 years to make sure that the participation fee for the whole weekend gives you "value for money"

For 2 nights in the hotel, including 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 2 dinners, drinks (partly),
admittance to all attractions, bus and boat fares and some souvenirs for all participants, we
have set the basic fee at 298 Euro per person.
